Holiday Parade

Experience the magic of the holiday season as children of all ages take in the wonder of the annual Downtown Marquette Winter Snow Fun Holiday Parade. Bundle up with friends and family as illuminated floats, tinsel-strewn trucks and colorful carolers transform Third Street into an enchanted scene from the North Pole.

The Marquette Post Office will also be collecting letters during the holiday parade while it goes down Third Street. So bring the little one and bring their letter and make sure Santa receives their Christmas wishes.

The parade will travel South down Third Street towards the Marquette Commons where the tree lighting ceremony will begin at 7 PM. Come say hi to Santa, grab some cocoa and welcome the holiday season with the Christmas spirit!

After the parade, meet us at the Marquette Commons for the 48th Annual City of Marquette Tree Lighting where we will illuminate the community with music, dance, and the joy of the season! Look below to see what’s new and what to expect at this year’s City Tree Lighting.

Inaugural Yule Market arrives:

The inaugural Yule Market in Marquette brings a festive new tradition to the holiday season! Held downtown, this market will be the hub of holiday cheer, offering unique local goods, seasonal treats, and plenty of cozy vibes. As part of the celebration, the City Tree Lighting will take place at the market, bringing the community together to kick off the holidays.

Feel the holiday magic as 41 West fill the air with the timeless tunes that make the season bright. It's a performance that will have you singing along and tapping your feet with delight.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town:

Bring the whole family for a chance to meet Santa Claus himself! Santa will be there to hear your Christmas wishes, spread joy, and capture the hearts of young and old alike.

Letters to Santa:

The local post office will be collecting letters to Santa! Share your holiday dreams, and who knows, your wish might just come true!
