Thanks for thinking about participating in one of our Downtown Marquette events . All participants including vendors, musicians, and Downtown Businesses must apply here to participate in either Blueberry Festival or Music on Third.

We know this seems like we are asking a lot of you, but putting in the time here will create a better event experience for vendors, musicians, and attendees. Please take your time to review the information on this page carefully. We will do our best to set you up for success.

Yes, listed below are the 2025 application deadlines:
Blueberry Festival: Friday, April 25
Music on Third: Friday, May 30
We can help you apply for an administration fee.

Blueberry Festival:
- Downtown Business= $45
- Outside Vendor= $125
- Electricity Fee: $35
Music on Third:
- No cost to participate
Due to a high number of applicants of musicians for Music on Third and Blueberry Fest, you are not guaranteed an opportunity to perform. However, an effort is made to give every applicant at least one performance in either event and based on the performers schedule and preferences.
Vendors are expected to check their email for any updates related to the event, especially as we near the event date.
Vendors are expected to follow event policies and safety procedures or may be asked to leave the event without a refund for their spot.
An email will be sent to the email provided in your Marketspread profile telling you if you have been accepted or denied.
You will be invoiced for your vendor spot after you have been accepted.

2025 Application Process

Step 1: Create an account.

We have a new system for managing applications for both vendors and musicians! Before you apply, you will be automatically prompted to create a Marketspread Account, or sign into an existing account. Here’s a quick walkthrough of this process:

Step 2: Know Your Vendor Type

When creating a new MarketSpread Account, you will be asked to classify yourself. A general definition will auto-populate during your account creation to help you find the correct type: Here are some as an example.

A person who has grown, raised, or gathered a product that is sold directly to the consumer by themselves, their employee/s, or family member/s.
Musicians performing at either Music on Third or Blueberry Festival.
Local Nonprofits, service and volunteer organizations.
A sponsor of the Downtown Marquette Summer Events Package that is provided a place in all MDDA summer events.

Step 3: Know your product offering

You will be asked to provide all the products you plan to offer for sale at the market at the end of the application. Some vendor types are exempt, while other are required to provide this information. Read the tips below to understand what we need from you.

The following vendor types should not enter any products at the end of their application:

-Entertainment (AKA musicians)
-Sponsors (Summer Event Sponsors)

For the vendor types listed above, our application process will ask specific questions to understand what you plan to offer.

All other vendor types are required to submit products with their application.
If you offer a product that has different varieties, flavors, scents, etc, you may submit the general category, i.e. "body soap" or "cherry tomatoes". You do not need to list each scent or varietal as its own individual product. You will be able to go back and add more detailed descriptions to your products (such as flavors, scents, and varietals) after your application is submitted.
List all products you intend to sell. Each submitted product will be approved or rejected. You are only allowed to sell approved products at the market.

Do your best, but don’t stress too hard. You will be able to add or remove products after you submit your application leading up to the event.

Step 4: Submit an Application!

Now that you fully understand our application process, let’s get to it. If you haven’t carefully reviewed the information above please take the time do to so otherwise your application may be rejected. You need to apply for EACH market you’d like to be considered for.
