Development Area Citizen’s Council for TIF Plan #5

The Marquette DDA is beginning the process of exploring extending our existing TIF Plan (TIF Plan #4) for 30 years by creating TIF Plan #5. In order to do so, we are looking to create a Development Area Citizen’s Council (DACC) consisting of nine individuals who reside within Marquette’s Downtown District.

In early 2024, Marquette DDA TIF Plan #4 was adopted, which allowed for the expansion of the TIF district to include a majority of the businesses and buildings along North Third Street in Downtown Marquette. With a 30-year extension of our existing TIF, we will be able to help those plans in TIF Plan #4 come to fruition.
